Algeria is a country in North Africa's Maghreb area. It is bordered to the northeast by Tunisia, to the east by Libya, to the southeast by Niger, to the southwest by Mali, Mauritania, and Western Sahara, to the west by Morocco, and to the north by the Mediterranean Sea. It is the largest country by total area in Africa, and by extension, the Arab world. The country's climate is semi-arid.
If the war was truly straightforward, it may be said to have come to a definitive conclusion in July 1962, when Algeria attained independence; given these circumstances, it is unsurprising that the French talked nothing about the battle in the ten or twenty years that followed. In France, an amnesty statute applied to offenses committed during the war, and any public debate of the conflict took place outside of France.
Not reported haunting are usually documented in Algeria about haunting.
